A friend of mine shared that weirdly gross head with me and I wanted to do something with it. This is the end result. As I worked, a sort of story developed in my head and I figured this... grotesque individual had to be searching for something -- like a sacrifice, because I imagined it being involved in some sort of witchcraft -- hence the title.
